The company’s former CEO Cheryl Smithers, a twenty-year accounting professional who also owns and operates a viable event planning company that can boast of a high-profile clientele in as well as outside of the entertainment industry. Mrs. Smithers’ financial knowledge and industry contacts are a valuable asset to NCC and the success of its ventures.

NEW CITY’s President/COO Victor Dugue` Jr, is a founder of the company and lead officer on its artist development and management team. He is a seasoned music producer, personal manager, and artist developer. Victor has been in the music business for over twenty plus years, and has developed, produced and/or managed a variety of music artists, songwriters, and music producers ranging from Pop, Urban Contemporary, Dance, Hip-Hop, to R&B. NEW CITY’s artists under Victor’s guidance have gone on to write songs for the likes of Bobby Brown, Anthony Hamilton, Eric Sermon, David Hollister, AZ and other major artists in the music industry. His many years in the entertainment industry as a manager, as well as a music and event producer has afforded him affiliations with accredited music industry, producers, musicians, music engineers, and video directors, as well as afforded him connections with radio station directors, marketing/branding professionals, music label executives, and prestigious club/concert promoters. His experience, dedication, and love for developing and managing aspiring entertainers’ careers make him one of the finest to do it in the entertainment industry.

While simultaneously filling the company’s leadership void left by NCC’s former CEO stepping down. Victor has spearheaded the organization’s new direction, as well as personally signed emerging artists in the Hip-Hop, R&B, and Dance music genres. With his leadership and guidance, NCC’s company and project goals are distended to be realized.

NEW CITY’s Vice-President of Business Affairs Edward “Wills” Thomas, is a former NFL player who embarked on his first official entrepreneurial venture when he became one of the founders/managers of Original Gentlemen LLC. A successful New Orleans based shoe maintenance and repair company that was established in a string of hotels. After returning to college to earn his B.S. degree from the University of Houston, he sought a way to utilize his business knowledge in conjunction with his entertainment and sports contacts; hence he founded a second company named MOVES LLC. The organization is a full service special and sporting event management/operations company that provides an array of services. Mr. Thomas’s business expertise and various industry affiliations make him a valuable member of NCC’s team.

Our ventures lead by the above mentioned executive team, in conjunction with assistance from our affiliates, NCC’s mission to build a positive and world-renowned name in the entertainment industry for itself and its clients will soon be realized.
